PRIDE IN EXCELLENCE
Laastedrif Agri’s nursery produces apple trees of outstanding quality. Very cold winters and regular snowfall allow us the ideal opportunity to propagate an apple tree that is true to its nature and fully hardened.
With the inputs of experts on a variety of technical areas, we are able to produce a tree that meets the farmer’s requirements. If the trees are not good enough for Laastedrif Agri’s orchards, it’s not good enough for the client’s orchards.
Rossouw Cillié, the visionary owner of the nursery and successful fruit farmer, understands the important role of the nursery in propagating apple trees. We make it our goal to take care of the nursery trees for two growing seasons instead of only one, so that our client can have a product with strength and a well-established root system.

Livestock
FINE WOOL & KAROO LAMB
Laastedrif Agri has a growing Dohne Merino stud raised for the production of meat and fine wool. We keep our sheep the way Mother Nature intended – free-range and with very little man-made interference.
We believe that sheep farming perfectly complements our other farming activities and we intend to grow this segment of our business substantially in future.
RETAILERS
From Ceres and the slopes of the Matroosberg mountain to the Sandveld and the warm, dry plains of the Klein Karoo, Laastedrif Agri produces fruits and vegetables of outstanding quality all year round.
